Overview
A two-ram baler, also called a twin ram baler, uses two hydraulic rams that work in sequence. The main ram compresses material into a dense bale, and a second ram set at a right angle pushes the finished bale out through the tying system.
Because each bale is fully formed and ejected before the next one starts, a two-ram baler can switch from one material to another without mixing them. That makes it the standard choice for recycling operations that bale cardboard, paper, plastics and metals on the same machine, and it packs more material into each bale to improve storage and shipping efficiency.

Trade-In Program โCommon Questions
A two-ram baler has two hydraulic rams. One compresses the material into a bale and the other ejects the finished bale through the tying system. It is also known as a twin ram baler.
A single-ram auto-tie baler pushes material through a long extrusion chamber and works best on one material at a time, typically cardboard. A two-ram baler forms each bale against a solid wall, so it handles many materials, including plastics and metals, and makes denser bales.
Cardboard, mixed paper, plastics such as PET and HDPE, aluminum cans and other non-ferrous metals, and textiles. It can switch between materials from one bale to the next.
High-volume operations that bale more than one material, such as recycling facilities, scrap processors and large distribution or manufacturing sites.
